Retention samples must be protected against adulteration and clearly identified. Bottles with sealing eyelets should therefore be sealed with SampleSafe seals. The seals are made from tear-resistant plastic and are provided with an additional marking field. The 9-digit serial number identifies the seals unambiguously. The seal thread diameter is 2 mm so that SampleSafe seals can also be used with small eyelets and slits.
